Im beginning to think it is a bug in Excel and hoping that the next version will fix it.I had no luck trying to find a way to report directly to Microsoft.
![]() ![]() Issue: When any VBA macro is run in debug mode (or it goes through a debug.print statement in normal mode), the first time it encounters a floating point operation, it results in a Overflow error. ![]() Tried removing all Add-Ins, restart computer, close all other applications etc. Code below contains methods that reproduce the error and minor variants of the same method that do not produce the error. Once suspended, you are able to use VBAs debugging environment to view the status of your program, step through each successive line of code, continue execution of the code, or halt execution of the code. Breakpoints are particularly useful when you want to suspend your program where you suspect a problembug exists. The quickest way to do this is by pressing Alt F11 while your Excel database file is open. A red dot should appear and the line of code should be highlighted in red.
